The National Climate Assessment (NCA), released recently by the U.S. Global Change Research Program, provides a synopsis of the challenges faced by all regions of the U.S. regarding climate change. As part of the NCA process, the principal investigators of the Southwest Climate Science Center prepared a technical report and synthesis of current and projected climate change impacts specific to the southwest, entitled Assessment of Climate Change in the Southwest United States. The entire report, including a summary for decision makers, is available here (a Spanish translation of the summary for decision makers is available here).
