Binational Conservation of Light-footed Ridgway’s Rail

The Light-footed Ridgway’s Rail is the focus of a binational, multidisciplinary, multi-institutional effort to conserve important coastal wetlands in Southern California and northwestern Baja California and protect this species from future declines.

Expansion of the Motus Tracking Network in Northwest Mexico

Our new coastal Motus network has allowed us to track birds tagged along the western hemisphere and to start filling knowledge gaps on several species of conservation concern.
